Bobby Curtola
Chairman

As Chairman of Alternate Health, Bobby Curtola brings a breadth of experience and personal contacts that will focus on expanding and growing Alternate Health’s long-term value.
An icon of the Canadian Music Industry, Bobby Curtola ranks among the most decorated artists of all time, with 25 gold records and many years of international touring. Bobby is also involved in many North American charities and has hosted numerous telethons coast to coast in Canada.

In 1998, Bobby was made a member of the Order of Canada in recognition of his long service to the Canadian music industry as well as his humanitarian work around the world. His pioneering contribution to the genre has been recognized by the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. In 2011, Bobby received a star on the Italian Walk of Fame in Toronto, Canada. In 1998, Bobby was made a Certified Member of the Order of Canada in recognition of his long service to the Canadian Music Industry as well as his humanitarian work around the world.

Howard W. Mann
President & Chief Executive Officer

Howard brings to Alternate Health over 15 years’ experience in various online and offline media enterprises, including direct experience with international licensing, as well as creating numerous domestic and international commercial sales and marketing programs, merchandising items, and electronic rights properties.

As a successful entrepreneur, Howard founded numerous online businesses and consulted on various annuity based membership platforms, online advertising and marketing platforms, streaming media and cloud storage platforms, social networking, television & video production, animation production, merchandising, branding, and direct marketing projects.

James E. Tykoliz
Vice President & Chief Information Officer

James brings Alternate Heath over 28 years of client service oriented, solution selling experience in online, data driven, financial service environments, including analyzing data to identify problems and opportunities that drive sales and revenues.

Building on his degrees in Finance & Economics from the University of Western Ontario, James restarted his career and rapidly rose to servicing large multi-national accounts for pharmaceutical and packed goods companies at A.C. Nielsen Market Research before applying his data analysis skills to drive revenues through data driven sales and marketing programs applied to online gaming companies.

Lance Macintosh
Chief Financial Officer

Lance brings over 35 years of experience in the areas of senior management, corporate finance and accounting. He has specific and relevant expertise in financial operations management, financial administration and control, mergers & acquisitions, and both project and acquisition related financing.

Among other things, Lance has overseen the financial operations, the corporate development function, and the ‘going public’ process for two major Canadian corporations, has extensive senior relationships in both the public & private debt and equity markets and he has held senior financial positions with a number of significant private and public corporations.

Rick Macartney
Chief Logistics Officer

Rick Macartney has over 25 years in both senior management and consulting roles, assisting a wide variety of businesses to profitability, develop strategic and financial plans, re-organize and streamline operations, and develop new businesses.

With both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics, Rick has accomplished many assignments in a wide variety of both large and small businesses. For the past nine years Rick has consulted with private clients in markets as diverse as entertainment, real estate, solar energy, and other sectors, identifying projects and working on many aspects of business, including strategy development, organizing sales and marketing, and financing.

Stephen Bugbee
Vice President & General Manager

Stephen Bugbee is a technology consultant who specializes in sales, marketing, business development, management and operations in the technology sector. His proven track record in taking companies to profitability is second to none. Stephen initially worked with many large brands in the entertainment space at the inception of the Internet assisting companies like Carsey Werner, King World and the Coca Cola Company to embrace early rich media technologies. This was followed by helping Digital Island acquire Softaware, Sandpiper Networks and Exodus prior to preparing the company for the Cable and Wireless acquisition. For the past 15+ years Stephen has helped many companies reach heightened profitability by utilizing his experience and skill-set to manage and drive revenue.

Robert G. Elias
National Sales Manager

Robert brings over 35 years’ of Sales and Marketing experience in the Healthcare sector to Alternate Health, including pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, active pharmaceutical ingredients, health measurement tools, manufacturing, business development, product line extensions, as well as creating market research divisions for various companies.

As a successful Sales person and Business Consultant, Robert has branched out into exceeding sales targets in the Health Sector, Telephony, and IT industries as well as Marketing and Promoting Assistance Living for the Elderly, and merchandising, branding and direct marketing of products and services for the physically impaired and elderly.
